Witch Hunt at Rosenborg

During the Autumn holiday, 15.- 23. october, we open the gates of the castle to exiting activities for the whole family.
Christian IV reigned during the most extensive witch hunts in danish history, and he personally played an active role in the prosecution of several witches.
Hear the stories of some of the witches who were condemned to the stake, draw a witch for the witch tree and help the witch Alvilda find ingredients for her witches brew.

(The witch stories are told in danish, but anyone can play in the witch hunt)

The museum’s cafe serves piping hot witch pot – ready to go.

Rosenborg Castle is open 10 – 4, and every day there are witches tales
11 am. and 2. pm.
