Juliane Marie Dinner Service

Dinner service named after Queen Juliane Marie, who was married to Frederik V.

Together with her son, Hereditary Prince Frederik, Queen Juliane Marie became a partner in Royal Copenhagen when it was established in 1775. The company was run by the Royal Family up until 1868. Until the latest restoration of Christian VIII’s Palace wood fired stoves stood in the niches, and it was Queen Ingrid’s idea to exhibit the Juliane Marie Dinner Service instead.
