Culture Night 2011
On Friday, October 14, there is Culture Night in Copenhagen and The Amalienborg Museum will give you access to rooms that are normally not open for the public. It will also be possible to see the royal couple's cars and go on a treasure hunt in the exhibition God save Denmark

The Pompeian Chamber
The Pompeian Chamber was used as a bedroom by Prince Frederik and later his two daughters-in-law Charlotte Frederikke and Queen Caroline Amalie. Both were married to the Prince's eldest son Christian VIII.

The Golden Cage
The treasury at the Amalienborg Museum is called The Golden Cage because the walls are painted white with golden stripes. In the Golden Cage several impressive items are shown, including a small selection of the Crown Jewels, a vinaigrette and several items made by Fabergé.
