The Gala Hall is approximately 130 square metres and thus the largest room in the Palace. The room does not appear overwhelmingly large, which is down to the architect Nikolai Abildgaard's playing with the shape of the room.
The Appartement Hall is partly furnished in accordance with Nikolai Abildgaard's watercolours. The walls with the green silk tapetry and purple shades are like the watercolours, whereas the furniture and curtains are different with respect to both colour and design.
