The Amalienborg Museum offers guided tours for groups to the regular exhibitions and to some special exhibitions.
A guided tour takes approximately 1 hr.
Guided tours must be booked at least two weeks ahead.

Prices:
Guided tours in Danish
· Monday - Friday: 660 kr. + admission fee
· Saturday - Sunday: 770 kr. + admission fee
Guided tours in English, German or French
· Monday - Friday: 770 kr. + admission fee
· Saturday - Sunday: 880 kr. + admission fee
Guided tours outside normal opening hours can be arranged at additional cost to staff.

Carl Bloch was a Danish Painter and graphic artist, brother of Emil, Oscar and William Bloch. He is best known for various baroque-inspired paintings with motifs from history and mythology, such as Samson at the Philistines (1863, State Museum of Art) and especially Christian II at Sønderborg Castle (1871, Fredderiksborg Museum).

The Gala Hall
The Gala Hall is approximately 130 square metres and thus the largest room in the Palace. The room does not appear overwhelmingly large, which is down to the architect Nikolai Abildgaard's playing with the shape of the room.
