Silver baptismal font

Silver baptismal font, partly gilted. The bottom has a relief of the baptism of Christ. Used since 1671 at the baptisms of all royal children. Made in Hamburg by Christian Mundt II, and the foot was made by Gödert Botstede.

Still in use to this day, the baptismal font has been used at all contemporary baptisms. When needed the font is disassembled and moved to the church in question.
